Origins
The Airedale Terriers are originated from Airedale, a city in the Yorkshire region, in Great Britain and they have various appellatives: Waterside Terrier, Bingley Terrier. In the old days they were used to hunt, for vermin control. They were used in the World War I to carry military messages and mail or find wounded soldiers on the battlefield. He was later used by the police for patrol protection, guarding, tracking and recovering.
